RECAP: Pass the JRMMA Activism Meeting
Thanks to all who attended our meeting/strategy session/workshop at the Tee Pee in Tomah Saturday. We had a great group of supporters including Jacki Rickert, an array of activists from all over the state, local elected officials and candidates and an attorney. A list of targeted cities with people willing to organize the efforts and circulate referendum petitions was created.

Ed Thompson says hello to attendees.
Tee Pee owner and GOP WI State Senate candidate Ed Thompson paid a visit and promised his support for passing a WI MMJ bill if elected. His brother, former WI Gov. Tommy Thompson offered two pieces of advice in a brief discussion with our group:
1. "Elect this guy" (Ed) who's running for the State Senate.
2. Pass the hemp bill first, as it's already got bipartisan support, and it's easier to vote for medical when you've already voted for hemp.

circulator.
